I've been thinking about moments when God's love isn't as welcome. When I want God to do what I want God to do, for example. When God loves my enemy. When God loves me when I would rather sulk. When God is inviting me into new places. Yet God is persistent! If you'd like to explore God's amazing/annoying love with me, that's my sermon this coming Sunday, May 8 at 10:00 at First Parish. It's also Mom's Day and we won't forget mothers! Much strength and magnificence to you all today!
